Instructor Bio
Dr. Biao Lu was admitted to Gansu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1979, studying under renowned acupuncture masters such as Zheng Kuishan, Yang Jiasan, and He Puren. He earned his master’s degree from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 1989. In 1997, he founded the American Traditional Chinese Medicine Rehabilitation Center in the United States. With over 40 years of clinical experience, Dr. Lu is internationally recognized for his expertise in techniques such as “Burning Mountain Fire,” “Penetrating Heaven Coolness,” and “Twitch-Needling Stimulation.”
His techniques, verified through infrared thermography, can precisely regulate local temperature changes by more than 4°C, delivering outstanding clinical results. In 2016, he was named one of the “Top Ten Experts” in the Hundred Experts, Hundred Projects initiative by China’s National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Lu has trained over 1,000 students worldwide, participated in the CCTV documentary Millennium National Medicine, and currently serves as a visiting professor at multiple traditional Chinese medicine institutions around the world. He is a key figure in the global promotion of traditional acupuncture techniques.
