Dr. Michael Chung is a distinguished authority in TEAS (Tung’s Extraordinary Acupuncture System), with over 35 years of clinical experience and dedicated study. He began his acupuncture journey in 1986 and became a formal disciple of Dr. Wei-Chieh Young in 1991. Dr. Chung is known for his ability to bridge classical theory with modern application, refining TEAS techniques for both clinical practice and education. Over the past two decades, he has taught internationally, sharing his expertise across Asia, North America, Europe, and Australia. As both a clinician and educator, Dr. Chung is committed to preserving the depth of this lineage while advancing its global reach.

In this presentation, clinical experiences and case studies will be shared to demonstrate the effectiveness of Tung’s Extraordinary Acupuncture in treating difficult and complex conditions, including Sjögren’s syndrome and challenging dermatological disorders. Special emphasis will be placed on point selection strategies, the underlying theoretical frameworks, and key considerations for integrating herbal remedies into treatment.
